They are very well balanced, and made from very durable materials. In particular they are noted for how easily the weight selection mechanism works. You simply move a pin, much like you would on a large weight machine in a gym, to select that amount you’re lifting with the PowerBlock.
This particular set of PowerBlocks adjusts from 5 pounds to 45 pounds, in increments of five pounds, so this set replaces eighteen different free weights. The hand grips are padded to make lifting more comfortable.
This set of weights is not expandable, like some of PowerBlock’s other products. So, before you purchase, you’ll want to ensure that you’ll be happy at a maximum of 45 pounds for the set.
